From September 2018 our company participated in the Ipar4.0 project. What is Ipar4.0?
It describes the efficient organization of production processes whereby devices communicate independently and work in a coordinated way along the flow of material. Our goal during the project was to acquire practical and theoretical knowledge that could advance our automation and digitalization efforts. Applying these methods properly can increase our competitiveness, reduce our operating costs and minimize our inactive production time.
We first started the project by visiting sample factories, where we could study Industry4.0 solutions in action. Subsequently, we took part in a production management workshop where we analyzed the KAIZEN and LEAN approaches that we applied.
These stages led to an Industry 4.0 design workshop, a sample factory case study and a technology workshop. In the final phase of the program, we developed a simple development plan and received the Silver Industry 4.0 certification.
After one year of lengthy courses and studies, we have achieved this title, together. In the future, we will continue to fight for the Gold certification, which we plan to acquire next year.
